FAMILY STUFF

By God’s grace, all 5 of our kids continue to do well, walking with the LORD day by day and growing in Him. We feel so blessed and know how rare it is for that to be the case. He is to be praised, over and over - and thank you for those times when you remember to pray for our entire family. It is making a difference.

Our youngest son (4th in the birth order) recently had his first child - a little girl they’ve named “Shirley.” Isn’t that a cute name? She’s a doll - and the first grand-daughter. I can’t wait to spend more time with her. Our son and his wife are doing well and are soon to be going back to work (both of them).

We are asking the LORD to give them wisdom about their next steps as a family.

Mindi and I may also be inviting her parents to live with us. From the things we and Mindi’s sister and brother-in-law are seeing, it’s looking like it’s time for them to be in a more secure and stable situation.

We ask you to pray for us as we begin those conversations - and that the LORD will provide us the dedication and mindset we truly need to do this well!

MORNING MINDSET AUDIENCE

The stability and growth of the Morning Mindset is something that continues to boggle my mind. It’s a God-sized thing that I had no intention or ability to create… yet, here it is. I’m grateful the LORD is using my piddly efforts to point others to Himself.

Continue to ask the LORD to root listeners in the truths of His word, to grow in Him, and to have a genuine faith that is expressed through their love for others and eagerness to exalt Jesus in all things!

I just received and listened to a bonus episode for partners (Digging Deeper) where you were preaching on the vine, from John 15. I have to say it is so rich and so full and so immediately applicable for me… I’m going to listen to it multiple times!!!  Thank you so so much for everything you do for us!

I’m so humbled and thankful. God is good to us. It’s so good to be used of Him for things bigger than I can even dream up.
