Non-English numbers climb | Life changes in Jesus' name

Each time I hear from a Morning Mindset listener, I experience two things… amazement (that God would use me to accomplish the things I’m hearing about), and humbling (that God would use me to accomplish the things I’m hearing about).

I hope you know that you can feel those same things - because you (and your prayer) are a HUGE part of the effectiveness of what God is doing. Please don’t stop praying!

4 Languages - growth is beginning

It’s still unbelievable to me that the Morning Mindset is now being automatically translated into 3 languages from the original English version. It’s done by A.I. - so I know it’s not perfect… and I know that educated translators would likely cringe at the fact. But in my mind, the word of God is going out in some form, and that’s better than doing nothing to help those who might find their language-specific edition of the podcast. It reminds me of what Paul said in Philippians 1:15-18…

[15] Some indeed preach Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from good will. [16] The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. [17] The former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely but thinking to afflict me in my imprisonment. [18] What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in that I rejoice. Yes, and I will rejoice, (ESV)

I’m beginning to see the listener numbers for these 3 new non-English podcasts climb a bit in terms of listener numbers… which is encouraging. It seems those who speak the languages are not put-off by it being A.I. generated. 🙂 

Podcasting is a slow growth medium. An entirely new podcast, distributed for an entirely new audience, takes a while to gain traction… so keep that in mind when you see the numbers below…

SPANISH: has peaked so far at 45 listeners per episode.

HINDI: only 2 listeners per episode so far.

CHINESE: 6 listeners per episode so far.

Please keep praying that those who benefit from these new non-English versions will share the podcast with others who speak their language. Ask the LORD to supernaturally distribute the podcasts also - bringing the right version across the path of the right person at the right time. He is able! Keep asking Him to do it!

A RECENT LISTENER STORY

I’ve been listening to your podcast since 2023. I only missed a handful last year and so far this year I haven’t missed a single one. It would be way too long to an email to let you know how much of an impact you’ve had on me, but also people around me.  I don’t think I was actually saved until about 25. I’m 42 now and the last 17 years has been a progressive journey in my relationship with Jesus, and late 2022 I began the painful lesson that God is in control… not me. My local church as well as this podcast have been such a blessing. My daughters and I listen to you on the way to school almost every morning if I haven’t already listened to you during my workout. I told my daughter the other day that flying up to your church and watching you preach is on my bucket list. You, my local pastor, my marriage, coach, my men’s group, and obviously Jesus have completely transformed my life, my marriage, and the way that I parent my two daughters. he good news is I don’t recognize who I am anymore relative to just a few years ago. Brother, and as you like to call us, “friends,” you are making such a massive impact in the world for Christ. Disciples are supposed to go and make disciples, and you’ve had such an influence on me to do the same thing and now I’m getting to watch other people go do the same thing. I will continue supporting your mission and plan to increase along the way. As my brother in Christ, I love you and cannot tell you how much I appreciate everything that you and your wife are doing. If you need anything from me ask. If I can do it I will. Thank you, thank you thank you for answering the call and sharing your gift from Jesus, for him. 

I say this often because it’s TRUE… it’s YOUR prayers that make this sort of thing possible. God has changed this man’s life - in part - through the faithful prayers you have prayed. Thank you so much!
