Good news re: Spanish version!

Check out all we’re doing at https://MorningMindsetMedia.com
In my recent emails I’ve mentioned the desire to publish a Spanish version of the Morning Mindset. The main hesitation and obstacle in my mind has been the cost. But THAT may be a thing of the past if what I’m discovering proves to be true…
WHY SPANISH?
I have a couple of reasons for choosing Spanish as the target language for a translated version of the Morning Mindset. The first is a quite subjective, personal reason. The second is more specific and logic-based.
Subjectively, Spanish is the foreign language I’m most familiar with. I grew up around Spanish-speaking people and have rubbed shoulders with Spanish-speakers most of my life. And in the U.S. (where I live), Spanish the second-most commonly spoken language, which is consistent with my experience.
But more logically, speaking… Spanish is the 4th most commonly spoken language world-wide, coming in behind English, Mandarin Chinese, and Hindi. And since I have an elementary familiarity with Spanish, it seems the wisest choice to being with. I also have many contacts who are fluent in Spanish and can help me do the initial evaluations of the translation technology to make sure the episodes are accurate and understandable in Spanish.
(And in case you’re wondering… it appears that “Colombian Spanish” is considered the most widely accessible dialect among the many Spanish dialects).
Why not first translate into Mandarin Chinese? (which IS possible)?
Mandarin Chinese is spoken predominantly in Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, and Tibet. There is no doubt that Mainland China is the largest population of Mandarin Chinese speakers… and it is a “closed” country when it comes to podcasting.
The Cyberspace Administration of China strictly regulates outside broadcasts and very few are allowed to distribute within the country. Undoubtedly, an overtly Christian podcast like the Morning Mindset would be among those that are restricted.
In my mind, this makes Mandarin Chinese an unwise choice for the first language target for translation of the Morning Mindset.
Why not first translate into Hindi? (which is possible)
The countries that most predominantly speak Hindi are India and Nepal. And the good news is that BOTH ARE OPEN to broadcasts/podcasts from the U.S. In fact, India is one of the fastest growing podcast markets in the world at this time (2025).
But, not being at all familiar with Hindi and having fewer personal contacts who could help me verify the accuracy of the translation, it seems wiser for me to figure out the technology and process using a language that more of my “help” is able to speak.
But keep praying… I could see Hindi being another option on the horizon! I’ve actually already used the A.I. technology available to create a Hindi-version of one episode and am having a friend who is a Hindi speaker assess its quality even now.
THE GOOD NEWS: LESS EXPENSIVE OPTIONS
In doing a bit more research I’ve found a platform that can translate the verbiage part of the Morning Mindset into my choice of over 170 languages, while keeping the music and other effects intact. The translated A.I. voice even SOUNDS like me!
I know you’re eager to hear it, so here are a couple of samples…
AND…
Absolutely amazing…
And the best news is that the base cost for this would be around $190 per month - per language. Beyond that I’d have to pay an assistant to handle the processing, uploading, etc. - which would likely cost an additional $250 per month.
So for a total of $440 a month, per language, it could truly happen!
Please ask the Lord to give me wisdom, provision, and the right partners (translation proofing, administrative help, etc.) - as well as the time it would take me to everything figured out and set up so that it works smoothly week to week.
I appreciate all you do to support the Morning Mindset! You ARE making a difference!
