It seems like Mindi and I have been riding a whirlwind these past 4 weeks - and your prayers have sustained us. Thank you!

Updates as of 1/16/2024

OUR SON’S SURGERY

Many of you faithfully prayed for Aaron as he traveled to Salt Lake City for his oral surgery - and for the funds to come in. I’m happy to report (again) that he had all the funds he needed and the surgery was a total success! Thank you! He’s still missing a few teeth (waiting for the bone graft to take) and then he’ll have a few implants added to his mouth.

Please keep praying for the grafts to solidify and for the implant process.

DEATH IN THE FAMILY

Mindi’s Mom has long suffered with a heart condition and has been on hospice care for over a year. The morning after Christmas she went to be with Jesus. In the midst of her belabored breathing she sat up, spoke loud and clear as she looked to the sky and said, “Jesus! I love you! I’m ready!”

Within 45 minutes she was with Him.

That required us to make the trip to North Carolina for the memorial service, where God did a good deal of miraculous work to provide comfort and support to Mindi especially. We are thankful for your many prayers - even if you didn’t know what we were in need of at the moment.

Continue to pray for God’s healing and comfort for Mindi… her relationship with her Mom was strained toward the end and the pain still lingers. But she’s thankful that her mother is now able to see rightly and is made complete in Jesus!

THE EVENING MINDSET

As you know, the Evening Mindset began publishing January 1st of 2026 and just 16 days into the year, we’re already seeing over 1100 listens per episode. I’ve gotten a handful of comments from listeners already, telling me it’s just what they need to help them wind down their day in Jesus’ care.

Ask the Lord to give me wisdom as I continue to produce the EM episodes. I want them to help people rest in Jesus as they lay their head to rest for the day.
