HINDI LANGUAGE PODCAST HAS COME TO AN END
I don’t know all the things that go into this kind of result, but the Hindi language podcast that’s been going since the beginning of the year (2026) simply didn’t take off. I even shared it with Indian friends who I thought would have the ability to help me share it and expand its reach, but it never got more than 1 or 2 listens per episode. Due to the amount of time and financial investment involved, it simply didn’t seem like a good return for what we being put into it.
But that has allowed me to make another pivot that I’m excited about…
SPANISH PODCAST - EXPANSION AND IMPROVEMENTS
The Spanish language version of the Morning Mindset on the other hand - has done quite well. We had gotten up to 70 listens per episode - which believe it or not is about average for all podcasts published - and then I made a shift.
I new online partner (contractor) who is a Spanish speaker and also does audio work like I do reached out to me and offered to “proof” the Spanish episodes - word for word - and make corrections where the automated translation software wasn’t getting the meaning right. He’s also a missionary “kid” so he has a theological underpinning that helps him ensure the meaning of the teaching is right.
So I switched the financial investment from the Hindi podcast to this new addition of quality for the Spanish podcast. With this new partner - and his help promoting the episodes - the Spanish version of the podcast is growing - up into the 100s as of this writing.
Continue to ask the LORD to grant us a wider audience in the Spanish speaking communities around the world, that His name and His grace through Jesus will be made known and be embraced.
THE ORIGINAL MORNING MINDSET IS GRADUALLY GROWING
Listens for the Morning Mindset are hovering right around the 14,000 per day mark - which is a bit up from what it’s been in the past. Random days experience spikes in listenership - sometimes as much as 16,500 in a day - so it’s good to see that the appeal and benefit of the show continues to be real for people.
Ask the Lord for more impact, more grace, and more Spirit empowered sharing so that His name and word spread to more people!
GREEN FAMILY NEWS
We gathered as a family a few weeks ago to celebrate our youngest daughter’s wedding to an amazing guy - the one we’ve been praying for over the last 22 years! I was honored to once again marry one of my kids (this is round 4 - 1 more to go!)
It was a terrific time celebrating the Lord’s faithfulness and goodness as our family expands once again. And I loved that my daughter and her new husband were eager to have Jesus lifted high throughout the entire event. It was glorious to be a part of it!
Please continue to pray for our middle child (daughter), who is eagerly seeking the Lord’s appointed man for her husband. If you know any 20 - 30 year old young men who love Jesus - and preferably live in Southern California - I’d be happy to receive an introduction (as would my daughter, eventually).
A RECENT LISTENER STORY
I have been "binge listening" to the Morning Mindset on and off since I first found it, going from oldest to newest. While I have studied the Bible for decades, I get fresh perspectives or insights from your teachings. I especially appreciate that you teach with integrity, which is a reason I wanted to support MM as a partner. We all (believers and nonbelievers alike) need to hear the pure truth of the Word taught without compromise and with godly balance in grace and righteousness. I think you do that well. The Evening Mindset is very nicely done. I've recommended both to various friends and will keep doing so!
