Now that I’m sliding back into a regular routine as Pastor of a local church, I’m ALSO slipping back into a regular routine of fitting the MM into my weekly schedule. THANK YOU for praying for us during this time of transition

THE NEXT MM SERIES

I’m prayerfully considering what my NEXT series of episodes should be focused upon… the “Christian Behavior” series is almost over. My thoughts so far have been on the topic of “Wisdom” - though I’ve also had at least one listener ask for a series about “How to know God’s will,” and another ask for me to do a series on “The Spiritual Gifts.”

Is there something YOU think I should consider?

Ask the LORD to reveal His next area of focus for me to record. HE knows the work He’s doing in the hearts of His people who listen to the Morning Mindset!

MORNING MINDSET AUDIENCE GROWTH

I’m never sure how these things happen, but lately the Morning Mindset audience has grown significantly. I glanced at the statistics dashboard last week and some days the Morning Mindset, catalogue-wide, is being downloaded well over 25,000 times in one day! That is so humbling, but also affirming.

I’m thankful the LORD is showing me that many are utilizing the work I’m doing each week and that HE is still reaching people with it.

And I just remembered that I’ve asked YOU to pray for more listeners in the past… so THIS IS AN ANSWER TO YOUR PRAYERS!

Continue to ask the LORD to add listeners to the audience. His word going out daily is a POWERFUL and wonderful thing that WE get to be a part of!

A BLESSING GOING ON : FROM ONE LISTENER TO ANOTHER

In a recent “Pray Together” episode I prayed for a woman whose roof is leaking and she has no way to fix it. I prayed during that episode that perhaps there was a listener who could help. The next day I received an email from a man who owns a roofing company and said he has contacts all over the U.S. He asked me to put him in touch with the woman I prayed for, to see if he could help. They are talking about how to proceed from here.

Ask the LORD to enable this kind of thing to happen more and more. I believe that Christians loving Christians is one of the most powerful ways that we show the transformation of Jesus in our lives!

A RECENT LISTENER STORY

I reached out to you in Oct 2019 just after I was diagnosed with colon cancer. My military family was living in Germany at the time and I was fortunate to be listening to your Morning Mindset program daily on my Echo device. You were so kind to pray over me at that time and it really touched me. It’s a beautiful thing that you now pray over so many listeners on a weekly basis. My cancer was diagnosed as stage 3. After surgery and chemotherapy, I’ve been cancer free for more than 4 years and truly living my best life back in the USA. All of my family members are well and God guides us through the ups and downs of everyday life. I recently rediscovered your daily podcast and heard you have taken a lead pastor position. Thank you so much for doing God’s work and breaking down His words in ways that we can comprehend and apply it to life. Your new congregation is truly blessed to have you. I pray for you and your family to have a smooth transition. Keep up the good work Carey. You help people in ways that you may never know.
