As we roll into February I continue to be amazed each week at the number of people being blessed and truly helped by listening to the Morning Mindset. Your prayers for me and the work of God through the show matter a lot!

Here are some of the latest happenings I’m aware of!

Updates as of 2/5/2025

PERSONAL UPDATE

Mindi and I have just finished up our first 6 months at GracePoint church where I serve as Lead Pastor now. In our short time here our Sunday attendance has shifted from around 575 people per week to almost 700. That’s great… each number represents a real human soul, but it’s not only about the numbers.

Mindi and I have been busy meeting people, getting to know their stories, and leading the young-ish staff toward wise use of their time, talents, and treasures. One thing I’m particularly happy about is that Mindi is meeting every other week with the Pastor’s wives (all under 35 years old) and they have connected and are growing in a group context in God-sized ways. It’s so cool to watch Mindi mentor younger women just as Titus chapter 2 instructs!

I’m enjoying my role as well… preaching, teaching, developing the Elder team and staff, and working to discern where God is taking us. Please

MORNING MINDSET AUDIENCE

“Daily Listens” of the Morning Mindset peaked to a new high this past month… just under 25,000 a day! I know the new year and accompanying “new year resolutions” have contributed to this some (as happens every year) but I also am confident that YOUR PRAYERS are expanding our reach.

It’s my hope and prayer that God’s people are encouraged by the teaching of His word each day and that many come to first-time faith in Jesus as a result of listening.

Continue to ask the LORD to add listeners to the audience and to richly bless them through what they hear. Our partnership in this effort make a huge difference in the population of the Kingdom!

A SPANISH VERSION OF THE MORNING MINDSET

I continue to think and feel that the Morning Mindset (or something like it) should exist in the Spanish language. I know that so much of the world’s population speaks Spanish as its first language and that the gospel could go forth in those nations powerfully, through the Morning Mindset.

The technology exists to translate the MM to Spanish, even using my voice (though I don’t speak Spanish). It wouldn’t be too hard to do… but is pricey. My best estimate given what I’ve seen is that it would cost somewhere around $5,000 per month to make it happen.

I’m praying that if God wants this to happen, He’ll provide a way for it to happen financially.

Would you pray with me about this? I’d love to either get it rolling or get it off my mind!
